iQuango.org looks at what International Quasi-Autonomous Non-Governmental Organisations are doing and saying. We look at what they're doing everywhere, and see what we can do to have one big picture. Does the IMF or World Bank say something different about a topic or country than the Red Cross?
Our aim is for everyone to be able to know what's going on in the world, and to know more than the chimpanzees (first 2 minutes 30 seconds, but you might want to watch it all).
Some of that is data from many places, about all countries in the world; and some of it is news from the agencies and organisations working in places that we don't know the names of, and would have us reaching for an atlas if we did. The first source of news is a scrape of the Reliefweb.int news site. Now that's the core, we can start working on iQuango's that don't have anything.
